Academy, success in Apulia and Italy

It’s a successful period for the Castellana Grotte academy. Indeed, many athletes have been obtaining great result all over the country. Middle blocker Giovanni Maria Gargiulo, born in 1999, is currently involved in a camp with the Italian National team U19 in Rome. Libero Damiano Catania, spiker Piervito Disabato and middle blocker Ludovico Scardia, all born in 2001, have been selected for a camp with the Italian national team U17. All three of them, together with their six teammates (Roberto Battaglia, Francesco Campana, Dino Lopardo, Andrea Palmisano, Alessio Ristani and Mario Sportelli) have recently won the Regions Trophy with the Apulia.
