Taiwan Excellence Latina fought four sets versus Azimut Modena, but the Gialloblù took home the three points. Radostin Stoytchev’s team won the key set, the third, at the extras 34-32, dominating the fourth 25-16. It was a very interesting and exciting game, with Modena who won at the extras also first set 26-24. In second Latina fought back with a great performance of Sasha Starovic, who scored 24 total points in the game. Stoytchev played with Van Garderen in the starting six in place of Tine Urnaut. It was a good game for Van Garderen, who scored 18 points, the best scorer of Modena, who also had 17 points by Earvin Ngapeth, 15 by Giulio Sabbi and 11 by Maxwell Holt. Adriano Di Pinto’s team played a good game, also with Cristian Savani with 18 points, playing at the same level of powerhouse Modena, showing they can compete at this level.
