Great 3-1 win for Exprivia Molfetta on Gi Group Monza per 3-1. In first, second and fourth set Coach Gulinelli’s team won easily the periods, focused and determined since the start of the game. Molfetta suffered a bit the come back of Monza in third set, where the team from Lumbardy fought back and won 28-26, but in the other sets Exprivia was the owner of the game. As usual great game for Giulio Sabbi, 24 points, best scorer of the game, Joao Rafael, MVP of the game with 18 punti and 65% in attack, and Olteanu, 11 points with 69% in attack. Good game also down the net, with 10 total blocks (5 by Sabbi). It was a bad night for Monza, 15 points for Vissotto, 14 for Botto, only 6 for Christian Fromm and poor contribute by the middle blockers, 5 for Beretta and 4 for Verhees. Molfetta deserved this win, showing they are very dangerous on the home turf.

It’s never easy to play at PalaPoli, Molfetta step up on the home turf. Our reception in one of our weaknesses, and today they served very well, on the other hand we had alot of mistakes in serve”.

Alberto Polo (Exprivia Molfetta): “Monza is a good team, and we played a great game. We could win 3-0 but we made some mistake in the third, but we were good in closing the game in fourth. We have to put everything on the court in the remaining two games, to set ourselves for the post season”.
