Easy win for Cucine Lube Civitanova in Ravenna over Bunge, in trouble all game long versus the defending champs. After the unexpected loss in previous road match in Bari at PalaFlorio versus Bcc Castellana Grotte, Giampaolo Medei’s team reacted on road by winning clearly the game, dominatin in all the fundamentals and aspects of the game. Outstanding job for the italian middel blockers of Lube, 9 points for former Ravenna’s player Enrico Cester and 8 for Davide Candellaro. As usual a good performance on the opposite side for Bulgarian Tsvetan Sokolov, 15 points for him, good game also for Jiri Kovar with 9 points. Mvp american setter Micah Christenson dished some great sets to all his team, for three well deserved points. Bad game at all for Bunge, with Paul Buchegger as best scorer with 9 points.

Fabio Soli (Bunge Ravenna): “We knew it was a tough game, but we approached it in the worst way possible. All the responsabilities are mine, of this ugly performance. On tonight we weren’t at the same level of Civitanova, but neither to the same level of other Superleague teams. We played an embarassing game under all the aspects”.

Giampaolo Medei (Cucine Lube Civitanova): “We played a good game versus a good opponents who are often in troubles versus us. I’m happy for this win because we are coming from a complicated moment. We have to move forward, next sunday we’ll play at home versus Revivre Milano”.
