Triple Crown champs Sir Safety Conad Perugia announced they will not participate to next upcoming World Championship for Clubs.
“we haven’t the title to do it -said the Club- only European Champs (Zenit Kazan), South America champs (Sada Cruzeiro) and Asian champs (Sarmayeh Volleyball Club) would have the right to play this tournament. The other five teams are invited by an Agency based in Warzaw without any connection with FIVB. The other five teams invited will be present only for economic bases, paying a fee to the agency, and we prefere to invest our economic resources on our competitions and on the health of our Club”.
