NBV Verona President Magrini said, about the Boyer affair: “we are disappointed for the words of our former player Stephan Boyer to the french newspaper L’Equipe. We would like to be clear. Boyer has been sent out of the team because of some recidivist behaviour not affordable to a professional athlete. After some recalls from the Club, he always admitted his fault and promised to change his behaviour, but he never did it. Last, on 15th october, he admitted he violated the safety protocol and met people not safe, people who in the following days, tested positive to COVID19.
