International experience and top level curriculum for the new physiotherapist of Cave del Sole Lagonegro. Antonio Abbruzzese joins the staff of the Lucanian club this year, an established professional on the international scene as well as a Lucan who has chosen to return “home”, after a long and important experience, especially in athletics.
“After 20 years of professional experiences abroad and in Italy with the Italian Athletics Federation – explains Abbruzzese – with which I participated in 5 Olympics, World Championships, Europeans, international meetings, I dedicated myself to the football world working for 3 years with Empoli football in Serie A and B. The choice of Lagonegro / Villadagri was above all linked to friendship and mutual esteem with the President – underlines the physiotherapist – but also to the fact that I can continue to do my job at a professional level for a Lucanian team and therefore practically at home! This gives me the serenity to face the new volleyball challenge with enthusiasm, where I only expect to be able to offer my professional contribution and that I myself can get passionate. The environment that I have so far got to know gives me confidence and enthusiasm while giving me food for thought for the growth and improvement of the whole team to which I wish a good job “.
Antonio Abbruzzese is part of the staff of the Cave del Sole which in these days is carrying out the pre-season preparation at Villa D’agri, in view of the first friendlies in mid-September. For the first official matches, however, the first kick-off will be on 9 October.
