The second week of preparation for Sir Safety Susa Perugia ends.
After yesterday afternoon’s technical training, this morning the team group had a session in the weight room where they greeted the return to Perugia of captain Wilfredo Leon. The Cuban-Polish number 9 therefore joins his teammates with whom he will continue his preparation for next season.
Two days of rest await the Block Devils this weekend. Coach Anastasi has in fact granted the boys 48 hours of rest and recovery by setting the resumption of activity, with the third week of preparation, for Monday afternoon when physical and technical training is scheduled at PalaBarton.
The point about the first fifteen days of work is made by the Luxembourgish opposite Kamil Rychlicki.
“Everything is going well, we sweat and work. Now there are six of us and you can’t do magic, but the staff let us play games that we like and the training is fun. And anyway we can start to do something more, we start jumping and attacking even if physical preparation remains the main focus ”.
Rychlicki is getting in tune with the new coach Anastasi.
“I did not know Andrea as a coach, certainly now is the period in which we can know and assimilate his ideas and his vision of volleyball. In these two weeks, as I said, the focus has been a lot on physical preparation, when we will be someone more we will also develop the game tactics “.
It is a “lighter” Kamil after the radical hair cut made in the summer.
“It was since the days of Noliko Maseeik that I didn’t cut them, certainly a new entry since I’ve been in Italy. Let’s say – Kamil smiles – that it was time to lose a couple of kilos on your head and have fresh thoughts ”.
