Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza will play the Cev Volleyball Cup in the 2022-2023 season and not the Cev Volleyball Challenge Cup, by right won with the victory of the Play Offs 5th place in the SuperLega.
The news came from Luxembourg, where the European Cups Commission announced the names of the teams participating in the three European competitions that will see 10 Italian teams at the start in men’s and women’s tournaments. During the registration phase, Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza had agreed to a possible repechage in the Cev Volleyball Cup, the repechage has now become a reality.
At its debut in Europe, Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza will therefore be the protagonist in the second continental trophy for clubs, the red and white will enter the draw in the round of 32 (between 8 and 10 November). The possible challenger will be known following the draw which will take place on Tuesday 28 June in Luxembourg at 12.00.
