The Italian Volleyball Federation, on the recommendation of the coach Ferdinando De Giorgi, has summoned two athletes of the Vero Volley Monza with the Italian seniores representative. This is the Monza central Gianluca Galassi, included in the list of 14 athletes who will take part in the second stage of the VNL 2022, set in the Philippines, in Quezon City, from 19 to 27 June (the group will see the Azzurri facing Germany, Japan, Slovenia and China), and of the free man of the first men’s team of the Monza reality, Filippo Federici, who will work in Cavalese, with eleven other athletes, from 16 to 23 June, for a collegiate in preparation for the next commitments on the calendar.

Italy ended the first week of the Volley Nations League with three consecutive wins and one defeat, against the Olympic champions of France in the first match. These are the results of the matches played by Italy in week 1 in Ottawa:
