Top Volley Cisterna announced the arrival of Denis Kaliberda. A spiker of a high technical level, the hammer born in Ukraine but with German nationality, in 2017 was elected best spiker of European Championships with the conquest of the silver medal by his national team. 193 centimeters high, born in 1990, the new player of Top Volley before signing for the club in via Don Morosini underwent a training period with the team coached by Fabio Soli. A very respectable curriculum, before arriving in Cisterna, Kaliberda wore the jerseys of the best European clubs, including Italian teams such as Civitanova, Perugia, Piacenza and Modena. Six seasons played in the national top flight, a career highlighted by impressive numbers collected in 185 games played: 1200 points to the credit; 1040 winning attacks; 104 blocks and number of aces.
