A draw versus Ravenna

The test against Consar ends in a 2-2 draw, the first draw of the pre-season for coach Fanuli’s boys. After a first set of lights and shadows, Fanuli motivated the team by giving them the sprint that allowed them to win the next two sets; Unfortunately for the Reggio team it was not possible to achieve the victory, in fact the fourth set slipped to the last points and Ravenna took advantage of it to take home two partials.

Ernesto Torchia, libero of the Reggio Emilia team, talks about the positive things the boys will bring to the next test against Brescia: “We will certainly use the same attitude on Saturday that we had after the first set, where we reacted. We know that all the teams are well equipped and if we drop during the match we have no escape, but today we saw the strength of the group and we hope to continue to see it throughout the year. We started out contracted and then trying to stay united and attached to the score, as coach Fanuli says, “we came out of it” and in my opinion this is a point in our favor.”

Andrea Gasparini, Giallorossi spiker, then follows him on the microphone: “Today we went quite well at bat, it’s certainly a fundamental that can give us a big hand during the matches; We’re happy it’s going well for now. Today we helped each other a lot, as is essential in emergency situations, we must continue on this path and then we will see where we can get to.”

The next joint training session will be played on Saturday 23 September at 5.30 pm in Brescia; Consoli Sferc Brescia will challenge Conad.
