The new reinforcement for coach Paolo Falabella comes from the A2 series. The company of president Antonio Laforgia has completed another important market operation, which will bring the twenty-four-year-old spiker Alessandro Galliani to Bari, from the ranks of Pool Libertas Cantù last season.
The signing of the Lombard athlete further embellishes a department, that of place 4, which already includes players who can be trusted for the category such as Manuel Bruno, Michal Wojcik and Francesco Barretta.
After taking his first steps in the world of volleyball among the ranks of the Agliatese Sports Group, Alessandro amassed medals at the youth level, winning gold at the Trofeo delle Regioni (2014), bronze at the Junior League (with Volley Segrate , in 2014) and silver at the U17 Scudetto Finals (again with Volley Segrate, in 2015).
Following Alessandro stood out with the Vero Volley Milano jacket between U19, U20 and Serie B until he landed in Turin for his first experience in Serie A3 (2019/2020 sports season).
In the last three seasons he has played in the A2 series (two years in Cantù) and SuperLega (in Monza, 2021/2022) championships, played in two Italian Supercoppa finals (one of A2 and one of SuperLega) and won a Cup Cev with Vero Volley.
«I bring with me the vast baggage of experience gained over the years, especially in Monza where I had the opportunity to learn so much from athletes of absolute value such as Georg Grozer, Vlad Davyskiba and Donovan Dzavoronok – begins the new market hit of Volleyball Bari -. I have only received positive feedback about the club and the coach. I’ve never had any doubts about choosing Bari as the next step in my career – he confides -. I can’t wait to demonstrate all my worth in a championship like the A3 series which, over the years, becomes more and more competitive and exciting. The reasons are a thousand. I will give my best both in training and in the match to bring Volleyball Bari as high as possible ».
