It is a heavy confirmation, one of those who look forward to the end of the past championship. Nicolò Bassanello will wear the Volley Team Club libero jersey again for next season, the third on the banks of the Piave (the second in a row). Absolute level player for A3, who in addition to the experience in San Donà boasts numerous seasons in the Superlega with Kioene Padova, a club with which he grew up in the youth sector.
“Bassanello could have been part of Padova’s plans in the Superlega – comments Sports Director Eugenio Tassan – so we waited to understand their needs. Having him with us next year is a luxury, he works alone and with him the second line is armored one of the strongest free throws in A3 who technically comes from higher categories. For this reason we are delighted to have Nicolò with us for another year”.
A champion on and off the court who will support volleyball at work “Next year will be different from the others. In July I will obtain the master’s degree in Management after the three-year degree in Economics – explains Nicolò – so I will look into the world of work. This will commit in the morning but at the same time I wanted to continue my journey at high levels by maintaining Serie A with the Volley Team, a club I really love so much. They gave me the opportunity to match my future commitments with Serie A and for this I am grateful to him. On the other hand, I am driven by the desire to remain at a high level, a concept shared with the Volley Team given the acquisition campaign carried out”.
Let’s talk about the transfer campaign with the Volley Team squad which is becoming more and more defined with each passing day “I am happy with the arrival of Giannotti with whom I played in Padova for three years in which he demonstrated his skills on and off the pitch being a very nice person and a driving force who always wants to win. Among other things, he has achieved great championships in the Superlega so he is the right player to aim high. The same goes for Tulone, whom I know less, but he certainly has great experience in category and will give a strong identity to our game. Finally, there are some very promising young players, I hope for us and for the club that they can make a great championship of both personal and collective growth”.
