After the two tests with Bari and Taranto, the 2023 Preseason journey continues for Bcc Tecbus Castellana Grotte in view of the next A2 Credem Banca men’s volleyball national championship.
On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September 2023, at the Pala Grotte in Castellana, the second edition of the Franco Castiglia Memorial is scheduled, organized by the family in collaboration with New Mater Volley and Materdominivolley.it and with the patronage of the Municipality of Castellana Grotte. It will be an opportunity to remember and honor the figure of Franco (already a protagonist on the bench of Bcc Castellana, as a member of the technical staff, of a promotion to the A1 series and of the victory of the A2 Italian Cup), coach and sportsman who entered in the history of many Apulian volleyball clubs, who suddenly passed away in May 2022.
On the rubberized Pala Grotte, a quadrangular which will see the participation, as well as the yellow-blue team coached by coach Simone Cruciani, also of Wow Green House Aversa (another A2 series team), Aurispa Delcar Lecce and Leo Shoes Casarano (two Apulian teams standard A3).
It starts on Saturday 23 September 2023 at 4pm with the semi-finals Aversa – Lecce followed by Castellana Grotte – Casarano. On Sunday 24 September 2023, starting at 3.30 pm, the final for third and fourth place will be held first, followed by the final for first and second place.
Access to the Pala Grotte on the occasion of the Franco Castiglia Memorial is free.
On both days, it will be possible to book your season ticket for the 2023/2024 season for the internal races of the Bcc Tecbus Castellana Grotte.
