The 2026 Volleyball Transfer Market was a memorable event for Domotek Volley. The Reggio Emilia delegation, led by President Giuseppe Polimeni, arrived in the Emilian capital with a wealth of accomplishments and a significant weight to their name: the trophies they’ve just won. Among the most anticipated and well-deserved accolades, the Coach of the Year award stood out, given to Antonio Polimeni, the architect of a season that will go down in the history of the Calabrian club.

But the atmosphere isn’t just one of celebration. Bologna, as the club’s president himself explains, is also the place where the foundations for the future are laid, from every perspective: technical, administrative, communications, marketing, ticketing, and more. We met with Giuseppe Polimeni to take stock of a glittering present and a promising future.

What kind of atmosphere did I find? “It’s beautiful, a wonderful environment,” the president begins. “All the presidents and people who deserve nothing but respect and esteem are here, and we see them again year after year. There’s a fantastic atmosphere. Our delegation has arrived here with the entire management team, and we already have a lot of meetings scheduled. We’re here to officially open the new Serie A2 championship.”
