Last match of 2023 at the PalaFrancescucci, and last day of the first round of the regular season of the Serie A2 Credem Banca. Pool Libertas Cantù will face Puliservice Acqua S. Bernardo Cuneo on Tuesday 26 December 2023 at 6.00 pm within friendly walls. This is a treacherous challenge for the Canturini: the Cuneo team has an open streak of six consecutive victories, and the last defeat dates back to 19 November 2023 at the hands of BCC Tecbus Castellana Grotte.

Coach Francesco Denora Caporusso presents the challenge like this: “Cuneo is the best team at the moment: they are coming off five consecutive victories, three of which away from home – thank goodness they had travel sickness! With this roadmap it has regained the top positions, and for me it remains the favorite for technical, organizational quality and experience. However, we don’t want to be the victim: we have to be honest, we too are having a good time. We are growing from game to game, both technically and in personality. In Pineto I saw a team that accepted the difficulty and reacted. All this personality seen in the break phase will be needed, trying to touch every ball and have a lot of patience against a team that limits errors to a minimum. I hope people will respond presently, we will need their push, and I am sure we will entertain them.”
