Since this competitive season, Emma Villas Siena and Lilt have entered into a partnership with a social and health purpose, and with the aim also of promoting the various initiatives carried out by the association. On Sunday, during the match between the Sienese team and Cuneo, Gaia Tancredi, president of Lilt of Siena, was a guest at the PalaEstra. On the occasion of the match, the Sienese club promoted the national campaign of the Percorso azzurro, dedicated to the prevention and early diagnosis of male tumors. Information leaflets have been set up at the various entrances to the sports hall. Before the start of the match the captains of the two teams, Federico Bonami and Iacopo Botto, wore a Lilt t-shirt. During the match, all the boys from the Under 13 youth team of Emma Villas Siena who performed field duty wore association t-shirts.

“This is the first stage of the relationship we have undertaken – declared the president of Lilt of Siena, Gaia Tancredi. – We are very happy to be at PalaEstra, among other things on the occasion of the return of the Sienese team to the sports hall in Viale Sclavo for an official match. We are here to talk about the Blue Path, which is the week that is carried out throughout Italy, and also in Siena, to talk about prevention from male tumors. The blue ribbon wants to remind everyone that you need to check yourself periodically and rely on excellent professionals and excellent equipment so that you can arrive at the diagnosis in time.”

“Prevention – continues President Tancredi – is a culture that we have been trying to promote for a long time now, given that Lilt in Siena has existed for 50 years. We do this constantly with our campaigns to raise awareness of men and women of all ages so that they rely on professionals to check themselves periodically and systematically. At all ages, in fact, it is necessary to take care of oneself.”
