A confirmation and a new face for the completion of the technical staff of the ErmGroup Pallavolo San Giustino. Giovanni Collacchioni continues to play the important role of athletic trainer, as it is a question of putting the blue-and-white players in the best physical condition. Always present in the staff since Volleyball San Giustino started its activity in 2018, Collacchioni is a security for the entire environment: a lot of experience behind it, but above all a very important empathic ability to guarantee the right mix of strength and explosiveness required by the two technicians, Marco Bartolini and Mirko Monaldi. As in previous years, the GiPoint gym in San Giustino will host the ErmGroup boys with two weekly sessions scheduled by the coaches during the regular season, but the most important work will be done in the preparation phase, when the athletes will have to find the right balance psycho-physical to then gradually make contact with the ball and it is in this situation that Collacchioni will become decisive, guaranteeing a basic setting for the continuation of the season. And here we are with the new figure who joins the technical staff: she is Silvia Grazi, a professional specialized in injury prevention and functional motor and sports re-education, as well as a competent person and passionate about volleyball. Grazi will support the members of the technical staff with the aim of coordinating the dialogue and collaboration between the various professional figures. Sports director Valdemaro Gustinelli expresses his satisfaction: “The confirmation of Giovanni Collacchioni was a priority for us. Being able to continue working in the GiPoint structure and being able to count on Giovanni’s professionalism and experience – underlines Gustinelli – is for us the classic “sine qua non” condition. The arrival of Silvia Grazi is also a significant step forward: her presence will allow us to be able to manage above all the preventive phase of injuries and to have an always updated screening on the players’ conditions. Silvia will act as a glue between the medical staff, athletic trainer, physiotherapy staff and technical staff, in such a way as to be able to have all the various components in constant synergy and to make our structure increasingly functional to the project”, concludes the blue-and-white director.
