“For me it’s a return to the gym – underlines Matteo Ferrari President of ARA 1965 – and the friendship with Zlatanov has brought me back to a world that I feel a bit like my own for many reasons. Linking our name to Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza was a choice dictated by the passion for this sport and above all because by arriving as a company in Piacenza we tried to understand what our possibility could be to support the initiatives taking place in the area. This sports club represents our philosophy in every way, we support with our brand a club that presents itself well and does a lot in the area also with young people”.

Hristo Zlatanov, General Director of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, thanked ARA 1965 for their hospitality and for being alongside the team.

Fabio Ricci, central defender, is in his first experience in Piacenza. He played twelve seasons in the top flight for 277 matches played of which 174 won. In the last season he was the protagonist in Siena after an experience in Perugia lasting five years and previously he wore the Ravenna shirt for five years in two separate periods with the parenthesis of a season in Macerata.

“When the call came from Piacenza it didn’t take me long to agree to play for this team, I couldn’t refuse this offer. I arrived in one of the most important clubs in the Super League, the club’s motivations are high and equal to mine, I know that I have arrived in a serious environment. I want to continue to grow both as a player and as a person and I believe I have arrived in the right environment to do so. The season is long and there will be no shortage of opportunities to find the pitch.”

Bruno Dias, born in 2003, is the youngest on the team. He is Brizard’s deputy, he is Portuguese and this is his first experience outside the borders of his country. He has been with the Portuguese national team for some time.
