As part of the school project and “Schiacciamo la noia”, a representation of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza this morning took part in a meeting held in the gym of the middle school “G. Gozzano” of Calendasco.

Coordinated by Vittorino Francani, Referent of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza for the school project, by the vice principal Federica Bassi, during the one-hour meeting the Coach and Technical Manager of the youth sector of the red and white club Renato Barbon and the spiker Santos De Souza Ricardo Lucarelli spoke about volleyball to 130 first, second and eighth grade students.

After the greeting of the vice principal Federica Bassi, Vittorino Francani spoke of the project that wants the red and white club ever closer to young people and schools and invited those present to approach sport in general and volleyball in particular also as fans if not as athletes . Invitation also addressed by Renato Barbon.

Ricardo Lucarelli, in his first season in the red and white jersey, spoke about his sporting journey which began “when I was a child, I did various sports, in fact all those that my sister did and then at 13 I approached volleyball and I’m instantly in love”.

Lucarelli then recommended to the boys and girls present to “study because it is the most important thing but playing sports also helps a lot in life because it helps you to live with others, it brings you closer to other people, studying and playing sports together is possible, just want it”.

Many questions were asked by the students to the red and white champion who has actually won everything that can be won in his career and has been playing in Italy for three seasons.

“The best moment in Italy was winning the Scudetto with Lube last year, now I hope to win it again here in Piacenza. Italy is beautiful, the food is good and in every city you go you will find history, churches and monuments, which is missing in Brazil. My future? Many players only think about the present and not about what they will do when they stop playing, I think I will stay in the world of sport because it is my world and I feel great in it”.
