As part of the school project and “Schiacciamo la noia”, a representation of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza this morning participated in a meeting with the students of the “M.K. Gandhi” of San Nicolò which was held in the municipal library of San Nicolò.

Coordinated by Vittorino Francani, Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza contact person for the school project and by professor Laura Ferri, physical education coordinator, during the one-hour meeting the coach of the youth sector of the red and white company Stefano Gatti and the opposite Yuri Romanò spoke about volleyball to a hundred students.

Vittorino Francani spoke of the project that wants the red and white club ever closer to young people and schools and therefore urged those present to approach sport in general and volleyball in particular as simple fans if not as athletes. An invitation also addressed by Stefano Gatti: “do not miss the opportunity to come and visit us, let’s take a test to evaluate the possibility of joining our youth sector”.

Yuri Romanò, in his first season in Piacenza, European Champion and World Champion in office with the Italian national team as well as winner of the Del Monte Coppa Italia Superlega a few days ago, spoke of his sporting career that began “with football, then I switched to volleyball and I never gave up this sport. I still like football, I follow it, but my life is now volleyball and thanks to it I have already achieved important goals”.

Romanò then told the girls and boys present that “to achieve the goals that everyone sets for themselves, sacrifices must also be made, but when you reach the goal, all the sacrifices pay off”.
