The decisive week for the Bianconeri season has begun. The day after tomorrow Zaksa arrives in Pian di Massiano for the return match of the Champions League semi-final with the boys who have to make up for the 1-3 draw gained on Polish soil last week. On Monday however, still within the walls of friends, game 5 of the playoff quarter-finals against Milan.
Two delicate and very complicated games, two games where PalaBarton, still untouched this season, can and must become a factor. Coach Andrea Anastasi also says it:
“On Thursday we will face a very complicated match against the two champions of the Champions League, a very tested team and an extraordinary club that is making history at European level. We know very well that we will have to play a great game. We will try to make the field factor count, we have won the fact of being able to play the important and decisive matches at PalaBarton and this must be an advantage that we will try to exploit. A great support from our public will be essential, we will need a warm arena that pushes us from start to finish”.
Even the Ukrainian spiker Oleh Plotnytskyi calls the Perugia public to rally:
“We face a very very strong opponent. Zaksa are the reigning champions, we know them well and they know us well. A tough, complicated, difficult game awaits us, but we have the chance to win and go to the final, we believe in it and we will do everything to succeed. We will all have to play together, who will be on the pitch and who will be off, from the first to the last point. And we need a very warm arena and the push of our fans who have shown many times that they are the extra man in our favor”.
