Manuel Bruno is the first market coup scored by Pallavolo Bari for the spikers department. After following him with great attention in the last few seasons as a protagonist among the ranks of Volley Prata (two in A3 and one in A2), the the red and white management decided to bet heavily on him and, after a series of contacts in recent weeks, managed to secure his yes for the next Serie A3 Credem Banca championship.
The ambitious sports project and the presence on the bench of coach Paolo Falabella (with whom he shared the experience in B1 in Lagonegro in the 2015/2016 sports season) were decisive for his landing in Bari.
Raised in volleyball in San Lucido, during his career the Calabrian spiker, born in 1994, has gained important experience in Macerata (in B and in A3), in Lamezia (in B and in A2) and in Prata di Pordenone (in A3 and in in A2), which gave him the joy of his first promotion to A2 (with the Conad Lamezia shirt, 2017/2018 sports season) and the unique and indescribable emotions of the double promotion to A2-Coppa Italia of A3 (with the Tinet Prata di Pordenone, sports season 2021/2022).
Here are his first statements as a red and white player: “I jumped at the opportunity to wear the Bari Volleyball shirt, convinced by the club’s desire to always aim high and by the opportunity to return to work with coach Paolo Falabella – he begins Manuel Bruno – I arrive here at the best moment of my career, after the splendid years lived in Prata di Pordenone which gave me the opportunity to grow so closely with two great volleyball masters such as Dante Boninfante and Samuele Papi. for this new challenge. I hope to leave my mark also in Bari with my grit, my determination and my desire to win – he concludes -. The union of the group will be essential to aspire to something important. The qualities to be protagonists we are not lacking. I am convinced that we will have our say until the end”.
