Marcianise is working hard

An excellent performance against Cisterna Volley in Thursday’s joint training for Volley Marcianise. The Caserta team has shown constant progress in the last few weeks of work and coach Vincenzo Nacci himself praises the qualities of the group: ”The boys are working hard with double daily training and the results can be seen on the pitch. I applaud them because they really show great attachment to these colors and they are not the usual clichés. Against Cisterna I saw good things in all sectors. Our setter Manuel Alfieri has only arrived two days ago and is starting to get familiar with the rest of the team. But his direction was invaluable. We also had the opportunity to win a couple of sets but the result matters very little in these situations. I’m used to looking at the attitude that is the right one. They showed a lot of grit and determination which will be fundamental for the championship.” A Marcianise profoundly revolutionized compared to the past, young but hungry and determined athletes have arrived. “Exactly what I wanted – says the coach again – because together with the club we chose who should be part of this new course and we are happy with the choices made. They are players of a certain caliber both technically and humanly and this is very important for us. They are the men we were looking for and I really believe that this year with these premises we could have our say by playing on equal terms with everyone.” Today at home against Sorrento another joint test which will serve to further evaluate the group’s progress.
