The new athletic trainer of Volleyball Bari arrives from Turin.
In fact, for the 2023/2024 sports season, the company of president Antonio Laforgia has formalized the agreement with the 26-year-old kinesiologist Michele Avico, returning from his last professional experience in the volleyball field with the company L’Alba Volley (women’s B2).
Graduated in Sports Science and specialized in Advanced Sport Sciences and Techniques, the new member of the white and red technical staff boasts in his curriculum two seasons spent in Mondovì as assistant coach of LPM Volleyball (women’s A2 series) and numerous collaborations in the off-season phase with players who also play in Serie B.
What is about to begin is his first adventure in the A3 Credem Banca men’s volleyball championship.
“Since the first contacts with the club and with the coach Paolo Falabella, a full sharing of intent emerged on the planning of the work to be done in view of the next championship – declares Michele Avico -. In the first days of preparation it will be important to get to know the boys well in order to define personalized training schedules that take into account their specific characteristics and their needs. Everything will be taken care of in the smallest detail – he assures -. Preparation is essential. Working well in the weeks leading up to the championship also means carrying out a precious activity of accident prevention which, as we all know, have a lot of impact during a season. I will put all my skills, my experience and my irrepressible enthusiasm at the service of the technical staff and the team, with the hope of experiencing an important season here in Puglia”.
