The OmiFer Palmi starts again from… 561! Like the points scored in the Serie A3 Credem Banca season just ended by its “spearhead”: the strong left-footed opposite Pawel “Power” Stabrawa.

The club and the player, second best scorer of the 2022-23 tournament immediately after Marks Christoph, of Vigilar Fano (568), have in fact reached an agreement for the renewal of the contract which will see Stabrawa wear the colors of “Franco Tigano” also in the next championship. Born in 1996 and 203 cm tall, the Pole, during the last regular season, demonstrated all his talent and determination by establishing himself as one of the best “mouths of fire” in the tournament and thus earning the respect of his opponents and the boundless affection by the Palmese fans. His technical skills, physical strength and tactical intuition have been highlighted in every game, making him a central figure in the OmiFer attack.

Just to mention a few statistical curiosities that give a sense of the contribution given to the team, during the 2022-23 season Pawel Stabrawa recorded 57 aces in 25 games played and was first overall for winning attacks (482) and for points/set, with an average of 6.60. In addition to his impact on the pitch, the Polish star was also an example of commitment and professionalism for his teammates. Indeed, his dedication and winning mentality were contagious, inspiring everyone to give their all in every training session and every match. Put simply, the renewal of his contract sends a positive signal to the whole squad and demonstrates the club’s commitment to maintaining a solid and competitive group for the future.

Satisfaction in this sense was expressed by coach Giancarlo D’Amico: “the second piece of what will be the new formation of Omifer Palmi in the 23-24 season arrives. We continue with him, from Pawel Stabrawa, who, in my opinion – he highlighted – is one of the strongest expressions in his role in the entire championship with really important qualities. I hope to be able to create the optimal situation with the club and the fans to allow the boy to express himself at his best also during the next championship, I am very happy and very pleased to be able to have his contribution on the pitch. Serve, attack, block: he is a boy who knows how to play volleyball – concluded D’Amico – and I hope that this season the value of such an athlete will be seen even more”.
