Pool Libertas Cantù announces the confirmation of the technical and medical staff (with some new faces), considered one of the best in the entire Serie A2 Credem Banca, and made up of professionals of the highest level in the field.

The manager of the physiotherapy area remains Marco Pellizzoni. Graduated in Physiotherapy at the University of Milan Bicocca in 2011, in the academic year 2012/2013 he attended a master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy in Pisa, and specialized in manual therapy. And from that year he began collaborating with the company led by the President Ambrogio Molteni, first as an assistant to Andrea Molteni, currently an external consultant. Last year, however, he completed the specialization in Rome in Sport Certificate in Managing the Athlete: it is a one-year course that adds new knowledge and skills in the field of sports rehabilitation. “I am happy to be Head of Physiotherapist for the fifth year – he says -, and above all satisfied for my eleventh year in Cantù. I thank my precious collaborators Alessio (Diral, ed), the doc (Paolo Mascagni, ed) and Andrea (Molteni, ed). Thanks also to the president Ambrogio Molteni and the technical staff for the trust they place in our work”.

Also confirmed was Alessio Diral, a graduate in Physiotherapy from the University of Milan Bicocca. He also holds a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from the University of Pisa, and is attending the masters in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. Furthermore, he collaborates with CAB-UniMedica in Seregno, Innovative Care in Lentate sul Seveso, and teaches at the AdiFamily professional training school in Monza. He follows two football realities (Base96 in Seveso, and Novedrate Calcio) in Brianza. “I’m happy to continue collaborating with many guys from last year and with the staff, especially with Marco (Pellizzoni, ed) and Fabio (Taiana, ed) – he says -. I can’t wait for the season and the championship to resume: we will do our best to give the boys as much support as possible”.

A novelty is added to Marco and Alessio, which however is not a new face: it is Luca Pellegrinelli, former center back of both the first team and Serie C, who will join his more experienced colleagues. After graduating from high school, he graduated in Physiotherapy in November 2021. He is currently attending two courses: the “DSM according to Shirley Sahrmann’s concepts”, on movement system and movement dysfunctions, and the COMT, manual therapy. “I’m very happy to return to Libertas – says the ex Canturino centre-back –, this time not as an athlete, but as a physiotherapist.
