The Board of Directors of the Men’s Serie A Volleyball League, with reference to the cases of confirmed positivity to Covid of some athletes of the Allianz Milano company, has resolved to confirm the match scheduled for March 4 after having found it impossible to make changes to the current planning, also in consideration of the will expressed, unanimously, by all the directors, not to change the sequence of the Play Off matches. This decision was taken in order not to compromise the regular and profitable development of the most important aspect of the Championship, also taking into account the need to ensure the necessary recovery times for the athletes, the absolute uncertainty regarding the availability of the playing fields in the event of a change to the calendar, the circumstance that some clubs have already started the pre-sales of tickets to attend the first match of the Play Offs and, finally, the fact that the disapplication of The health protocol, already prepared to take effect from the recent Final Four of Couple Italy, had long since been decided for the Play Off phase, due to calendar needs that are completely similar to those that characterize the last two days of the regular season of the championship.
