Born in 1996, with seven seasons in Serie A2 behind them, the native band of Cittadella will be nothing short of a fundamental pawn in coach Milo Zanardo’s chessboard.
Tuscania, Brescia, Castellana Grotte, Santa Croce, Mondovì and Bergamo. A lot of Serie A2 for you, but what do you expect from this A3?
“I only played in A3 for one year and in the blue group, the level was undoubtedly already very high, but surely this season there will be many teams equipped to do well. Every year this category increases the level of difficulty, in fact, a lot of good battles await us. I’m following the market a bit and the rosters that are gradually emerging and it will be really difficult because I don’t think there will be any mattress teams. Without fear I can say that we want to fight for the places that count”.
Why the choice to become a lion?
“First of all I want to say that I am very happy to be in Motta. It’s an environment that I’ve been following for years, I have friends who have played for HRK and they have all spoken very highly of them. I promised myself that if I chose A3 I would sign for a company with a winning, ambitious and challenging project with a competitive team. I’m sure I found all this in Motta. We are a young team but we have a great desire to win and indeed, the fact that those who have already won with this shirt wanted to come back is a great sign”.
As we said for you, a lot of experience in the Serie A2 championship, what do you want and can you bring to Motta?
“I will bring all my baggage, both technical and human. I am a boy capable of adapting to all the different environments in which he plays. Motta specifically seems very familiar and welcoming to me. I am sure that from this point of view everything will be great. As for the technical aspect, however, I will bring everything I’ve learned in these years of apprenticeship to be able to make Volleyball Motta a protagonist. This will be possible by working a lot, I like to train and I’m sure that our group will bring great satisfaction.
