Man and fan even before being an athlete. Riccardo Vecchi, born in 1996, 185 cm tall, was born and raised in the M&G Volleyball School to become a shining example of how dreams and ambitions must be constantly defended and nurtured from an early age. A loud and clear message for all those young athletes who dream of one day being able to lift a trophy with their favorite team.

The spiker from the Marches is preparing to face his fifth personal season in A2 with a wealth of emotions which, to the detriment of his long militancy, is renewed from year to year: “Once again the club has chosen to renew its trust in me and this fills me with satisfaction – said Riccardo Vecchi -. It’s never something taken for granted, especially now that we compete in volleyball that counts, so I want to express all my gratitude. For me it’s yet another chapter with this shirt on but new motivations and a new desire to start over always arise.”

Starting over where he left off, hoping for further confirmation and new steps forward: “The season that has just ended has taught us that the A2 series is a balanced and top-level championship, at the same time it has brought us the awareness that we can and must make he starts with his head held high – continued the Grotese spiker -. At this moment it is still premature to talk about objectives, the club is preparing a staff to aim for a level championship starting from the results just achieved (salvation and final eight of the Italian Cup, ed). When the chessboard is ready and we can also take a look at the other contenders, then we will understand if it will be legitimate to aspire to something more.”
