The Italian-Argentine setter Santiago Orduna arrives at Waldo Kantor’s court. After four seasons in the SuperLega under the direction of Vero Volley Monza, he led Tonno Callipo Volley to victory which led to their promotion on the field. The director is ready to wear the Farmitalia Saturnia shirt and get involved for the next championship.

“When I was asked to be part of this project, I immediately felt all the enthusiasm of a company that has achieved its first goal of conquering the A2 on the field with hard work and work, to then launch itself into the ambitious project of Super League. My compliments go to all of them for their sporting results and for their great strength and entrepreneurial spirit in knowing how to plan a season as demanding as the next. Thanks to Catania, I will have the opportunity with all the teammates who will wear the blue and white shirt to fight in a category that I conquered on the field, but in which I perhaps would not have continued my journey. Furthermore, I am happy to return to Catania, fifteen years ago I arrived here from Argentina without ever having played in other places around the world before then. I come back with the enthusiasm of those who have known this city both as a sportsman and as a citizen, I know the enthusiasm of PalaCatania and I can’t wait to hear it live. We met with Saturnia last season in the training phase and I know both of the managers and members of the technical staff. Furthermore, the coach, whom I have often met as an opponent, is one of those players who has made those of my generation grow in his myth as a great setter. I know I can make a great contribution on and off the pitch. I will soon arrive in Sicily, hungry for volleyball and successes”.
