The setter born in 1997 from Fiorenzuola d’Arda (PC) will team up in the control room with Marsili and is preparing to begin his second adventure in red and white: Scrollavezza played at Med Store Tunit in the 2021/2022 championship, closing the season in the play-off semifinals. He grew up sportingly in Piacenza, he was among the protagonists of the victory of the Trofeo delle Province in 2011, then he continued his career in Modena, where he played two championships in Serie C, while with the under 19 he reached the national finals; between 2016 and 2018 he played in Serie B with the shirts of Viterbo and Moriano, then the following year he made his debut in A2 in Gioia del Colle. Between the transition to Med Store Tunit, two experiences in Serie B, with Ongina, then last year in Foligno, then for the 2023/2024 season the return to red and white.
“I am very happy to return to Macerata, I was hoping for it”, says Luca Scrollavezza, “I had a great time at the Med Store Tunit, with the company, with the team and also with the city, life is good in Macerata. When the opportunity to return was offered to me, I didn’t have to think long about it and I accepted immediately”. With coach Castellano we agreed on the summer work to do before preparation, they spoke highly of him, even Ferri, who stayed with me in Macerata and then last year he played an excellent season in Fano.
