The seasonal debut in the Super League is approaching for Cisterna Volley who will be playing at home against the Italian champions Itas Trentino on 22 October (at 6pm). In recent days, the sale of tickets for the first match has begun on the Vivaticket online platform and in authorized Vivaticket sales points in the area. «The start of the championship is always a very important moment for a Club and I am sure that at the seasonal debut we will have a large audience considering also that, currently, the pre-sale is going very well and in a few days a considerable number of tickets have already been sold tickets to watch the match between Cisterna Volley and Trento – explains Gianrio Falivene, sole administrator of the Pontine Club – We are the only Super League reality in the Lazio region and we proudly represent an important territory that wants to work to grow both on a sporting and to promote volleyball in Cisterna: the involvement of the city and the fans of our region is very important for us. The Cisterna sports hall is a very modern facility and is easily accessible both by car and by train given that the Cisterna railway station is connected to the car park of the sports hall by a tunnel, this is not a very frequent thing.”
The team continues its training program under the orders of coach Guillermo Falasca who, after having re-embraced the Turkish hammer Efe Bayram, will soon also find the two athletes of the Serbian national team who participated in the Olympic qualification tournament: Pavle Peric and Aleksandar Nedeljkovic will land at Rome airport next Friday and will immediately be available to coach for the last pre-season outing scheduled in Gubbio which will be the last friendly test before the start of the Super League season scheduled for the following Sunday. In Umbria, at the Palestra Polivalente in Gubbio, Cisterna Volley will have to compete with Padova, Panathinaikos and Taranto: the matches will be played on 14 and 15 October.
