The 28-year-old spiker Sebastiano Milan returns to Emma Villas Siena. It was the 2019-2020 season when the volleyball player wore the Sienese shirt for the first time: a year, that one, with coach Gianluca Graziosi as head coach, and with the white and blue team who experienced a very good sporting season. Until the Covid pandemic spread, which led to the blocking of the championships. Siena was first in the Serie A2 standings, waiting for the playoffs to take place when the country stopped for health reasons.

Since then Milan has lived the experience of the Superlega with Padova, then the Serie A2 with Lagonegro, the Serie A3 with Pineto where he was one of the best players of the tournament (even with the Mvp award of the Italian Cup in his category).

Sebastiano Milan is another market coup for the Sienese team, made official when the volleyball market in Bentivoglio, a few kilometers from Bologna, got underway pending the closure of memberships and the drafting of the calendar.

Sebastiano Milan, in what spirit are you experiencing your return to Siena?

“I like to experience next season as a return to Siena but at the same time as a new adventure. It’s a new page to write, we will try to do it in the best possible way. I have positive memories of Siena, this will be a new stage in my career and I hope it can give some satisfaction”.

How much has Sebastiano Milan changed since that 2019-2020 season in the Sienese shirt?

“I am always the same. I like to give my best on the pitch. I keep my technical characteristics, compared to then I have a greater wealth of experience. I’m happy with the career I’ve had so far. There have been some positive stages and some less positive ones, but they have all allowed me to grow”.

What memories do you keep from the 2019-2020 season?

“I have very good memories, of the team and of the city. In Siena you live well and feel good. It was obviously a pity not being able to finish that year, but we know that anything can always happen in the playoffs”.
