The confirmation of middle blocker Aimone Alletti, 207cm tall, born in 1988 from Codogno (LO), represents an important pillar for continuity of work in the new 2024-25 season.

Aimone was present for the fifth consecutive year at President Bongiovanni’s confirmation with the club, which will also see him as a protagonist for the next season in Taranto.

An athlete of great experience and versatility, who has played with different colors even in the most famous clubs of the Super League, he has gathered considerable technical baggage which allows him to face difficult championships full of dangers with great responsibility. This year he has taken up the legacy of captaincy with great strength of mind, demonstrating patience and tenacity, acting as a glue with the pitch, the locker room and the staff.

Captain Alletti does not hesitate to say words of gratitude and esteem for the Ionian company, recognizing the importance of the relationship established, which lasts over time.

Aimone Alletti began his career in Volleyball Piacenza, with which he made his debut in Serie A1 in the 2005-06 season. From the following season he was sold to Piemonte Volley of Cuneo, who employed him in their youth sector,

In the 2008-09 season he moved to Pallavolo Reima Crema, where he remained for two years, and then played in the ranks of Volley Segrate 1978. In 2012 he was called up by the selector of the Italian national team Mauro Berruto for a collegiate team in view of the 2016 Olympics.

In the 2012-13 season Aimone joined Sir Safety Umbria Volley in the Super League, before returning to the Cuneo club the following year. In 2014-15 he returned to Volleyball Piacenza.
