Second confirmation in the spiker department for the Lagonegro Rinascita: Andrea Fioretti, born in 2002, will remain in the red and white jersey. With the number 14 on his shoulders, Andrea will defend the Club’s colors in the next, challenging A3 series championship. The Club and coach Lorizio strongly wanted to renew their trust in the young spiker of Campania origins for the important contribution offered in his first season in Basilicata, marked by 190 total points, 20 aces and over one hundred perfect receptions (107). Andrea, over the course of the year, was the protagonist of some excellent performances including the winning debut (3-1) against Modica on 15 October, the difficult success of Marcianise (3-2) on 5 November and the 3-0 at home against Napoli on 26 November, where he always reached double figures. After the experience in Pineto, Andrea chose Lagonegro with conviction and with the intention of opening a cycle: “I am very happy with this confirmation, staying in Lagonegro was one of my main objectives at the end of the last championship. Now all that remains is restart from where we left off – Fioretti puffs up his chest – I thank the Club for their trust, I can’t wait to start again. I’ll see you soon at Villa D’Agri”.
