Yesterday, after two days of rest granted by coach Enzo Distefano, the preparation of Avimecc Volley Modica resumed in view of the final rush of the regular season of the A3 volleyball championship.

The blue and whites took advantage of the break in the midweek round, where they observed the rest round imposed by the calendar and the championship break to make room for the Italian Cup, to refresh themselves and face the decisive challenges in which the sextet led by Stefano Chillemi will go to “hunt” for the points needed to enter the play-off grid.

The first difficult obstacle to overcome is called Just British Bari. The Apulian team, after the negative results of recent weeks, has slipped to the bottom of the table and against the blue and white of the County they will do everything to achieve a success that can place them fully in the race for salvation.

Coach Distefano and his staff know that on Saturday we will have to work hard and quite a lot, but if we want to reach the goal and also want to grow on a mental level we must also go through these races which can be decisive for the continuation of the season which is now reached the final straight.

The Modica group is aware of all this and for this reason is working with determination to best prepare for the last races remaining at the end of the regular season. Meanwhile, the whole environment is focused on the trip to Puglia on Saturday.

The team will work with double training sessions until Thursday, then on Friday morning they will leave for Bari, where on Saturday at 5pm they will take to the pitch with the aim of returning home with important points for the ranking.
