Davide Brunetti spoke yesterday afternoon during the Sport day By day program hosted by Matteo Fogacci and broadcast every day on Made in Bo TV. The topics addressed by the rossoblù captain are divided between past, present and future: the smiles that arrived for the victory achieved on Sunday at Palasavena against Salsomaggiore, the very important Sardinian away match on January 20th in Sarroch and a new personal adventure between volleyball and work.

Finally a victory arrived on Sunday: “Finally being able to train with the whole team was a great achievement, and being back to victory was the icing on the cake. Salsomaggiore is at the bottom, it’s true, but it must be said that this year all the teams are competing with the others. These are two very important points because we were coming off a losing streak that was starting to take its toll and we are happy with this victory. We hope to repeat ourselves and not stop at just one.”

New life, between the field and work: “For me it is a special season, both from a volleyball point of view and off the field. I am doing an internship at Lavoro Più, sponsor of Pallavolo Bologna, in the field of personnel research: one of the job opportunities linked to my studies, given that I studied work psychology. It is definitely a tiring experience, but very stimulating. Furthermore, this year I hold the role of team captain, so a new year in many respects. It’s not a simple season, because there have been difficulties and it’s possible there will be others, but it’s certainly an interesting year.”

Let’s look to the future: “We must be focused on the possibility of scoring points, game after game. It is better to stay focused on the next very important match – in Sarroch – without thinking about the end of the season. There are still many races, everything can still be decided. Even teams further back manage to snatch points from the top of the class. Our current position is not the best, it’s true, but game after game we will try to do our best.
