Quarter-final weekend of the Del Monte Italian Cup for men’s volleyball in the last event of this 2024. Allianz Milano is looking for a historic four out of four in this competition which will have its epilogue in Bologna on 25 and 26 January. History is irrelevant, it’s true, but it’s hard not to think that in the winter of 2021 and 2022 the pass to the Final Four was obtained right in Civitanova by Allianz Milano. The team was already led by coach Roberto Piazza and on the pitch there were captains Matteo Piano, Paolo Porro, as well as a very young Matteo Staforini and Nicola Daldello, current 2nd of Piazza.
