Mint Vero Volley Monza fails to overturn the result of the first leg of the final in Poland and sees the dream of lifting the 2024 CEV Challenge Cup fade away. In an Opiquad Arena packed with spectators, more than 3,200 fans flocked to support their favorites, Projekt Warszawa manages to get the better of the Monza team by 1-3. A haunted Final for the Consortium’s flagship men’s team, which sees its dream fade away one step away from glory, as already happened in 2019 against the Russians from Belgorod. Mint fought proudly in the first set, losing only with advantages, but also falling in the second set, which definitively handed the Cup into Polish hands. The match then ended at 1-3, after Mint Vero Volley Monza had managed to prevail in the third set, before losing 22-25 in the fourth set.

MVP of the return Final, as well as in the first leg, Yurii Semeniuk, author of 10 points. Of note for Mint Vero Volley Monza are Nik Mujanovic’s 17 points; Takahashi (12 points) and Loeppky (10) also scored in double figures.
