Commitment in Piedmont this weekend for our Gialloblu who will be guests in the Monge Gerbaudo Savigliano den. Currently third in the standings, Captain Dutto’s team has so far shown solidity and concreteness, a roadmap that says Final Four of the Italian Cup, 10 victories out of 15 matches and three points shy of second place in the championship, after half a misstep by tie break lost last Sunday against Gamma Chimica Brugherio. Complex match for Sarlux Sarroch against a team whose main points of reference in attack are Rossato, Galaverna and Van De Kamp. In the first leg the Gialloblu managed to bring Monge to the tie break, playing good volleyball and proving to be equal to their opponent: replicating the good match is the objective of Romoli and his teammates, reinvigorated by the three-point victory obtained on Saturday against Bologna.
Coach Giombini presents the next match to us like this:
“Savigliano is an excellent team, this is also demonstrated by the fact that they are the only one to have beaten league leaders Mantua. They have a good level of play and are calm in the standings, this allows them to play with a free head. They come from the defeat in the tie break against Brugherio, we will have to be good at playing our good game with continuity and pushing them to make mistakes, as we did in the first two sets against Bologna. I tell the boys every day, we have to look for points on any pitch, so on Saturday we’ll try in Savigliano.”
