Yuasa Battery is still in the spotlight. While all the other teams have concluded their season and transfer rumors are starting to rage, Vecchi and his teammates will have a further opportunity on Sunday 19 May at 7pm to end their sporting journey in a memorable way. Last appointment of a stellar year, a last match in which only those who reached the end can participate, only the winners: Del Monte® Supercoppa A2. An event with international media coverage, organized by Lega Pallavolo Serie A and which M&G Scuola Pallavolo will have the honor of hosting at the sports hall in Via Fonte San Pietro, as the team that won the championship and was newly promoted to the Super League. As already happened in April 2022, in Serie A3 and always as the winner of the tournament, the tricolor Taraflex will be back on stage in Grottazzolina. And on Sunday it will be a fantastic remake, with Yuasa Battery queen this time in the higher category, and Consoli Sferc Brescia, fresh winner of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia A2, will challenge them for a race with an absolutely uncertain outcome, but also a guaranteed spectacle. Tickets on sale starting from Thursday through the Vivaticket circuit or through the sports hall box office, specially open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 6pm to 8pm and on Sunday from 4pm, until the 1000 available coupons are sold out.
Monday will instead be the time for the promotion party, to officially seal the feat accomplished by the Yuasa Battery together with fans, institutions and citizens: an entire territory which, in defiance of parochialism and divisions, has rallied around a company and a team, accompanying them to where until a few seasons ago they didn’t even dream of reaching, that is, to the Olympus of the Super League. Just two years after the victory in the A3 championship, here is the further leap, the final one, the most coveted one.
The team, managers and staff will be officially received by the Mayor Alberto Antognozzi and the Administration at the Municipality of Grottazzolina at 7 pm; to follow, in Piazza Marconi, the celebrations begin, in the presence of the “superheroes” in full force.
