With Itas Trentino’s qualification for the Play Off Finals, the 4 teams that will take part in the next edition of the Del Monte® Supercoppa SuperLega have been defined: in addition to Cucine Lube Civitanova and Rana Verona, already qualified by virtue of their placement in the Del Monte® Coppa Italia (the cooks won over the yellow and blues in the Final), there will also be Itas Trentino and Sir Susa Vim Perugia.
Access to the Itas Play Off Finals has in fact provided Trento with a pass for the Del Monte® Supercoppa and, indirectly, also for Sir Susa Vim Perugia. The Umbrian team will take part in the event regardless of the outcome of the Play Off Semifinals, whether as a finalist or as a “repeated” thanks to the best placement in the season, where it came in second behind Trento, already qualified. Cucine Lube Civitanova, opponent of the Block Devils in the penultimate step before the Finals, in fact already holds a right for the Supercoppa.
1st right: Scudetto winner;
2nd right: Coppa Italia winner (Cucine Lube Civitanova);
3rd right: Scudetto Final loser;
4th right: Coppa Italia Final loser (Rana Verona).
In the event that multiple rights are held by the same team or by multiple teams, the best ranked team/teams at the end of the previous Regular Season will participate.
