Allianz Milano will have a second Belgian talent in the roster, the talented spiker born in 2001, Seppe Rotty, ready to bring his energy and versatility to the next season of SuperLega Credem Banca. Rotty, already known to the Milanese public for his extraordinary performance at the Allianz Cloud during the CEV Champions League, 30 points with the Knack Roeselare jersey. He was also included in May in the All-Star Team 2024/25. Next championship he will spike on the same side of the net as the Milanese of president Lucio Fusaro.
Born in Torhout on March 12, 24 years ago, Seppe Rotty is 190 cm tall and weighs 84 kg. He reaches 355 cm in attack and 325 cm at the block. He began his career in the Topsportschool Vilvoorde, then moved to Decospan Volley Team Menen and in the last three seasons in Roeselare. At international level, Rotty represented Belgium in several youth competitions until his debut in the senior national team in 2021. He can play both as a spiker and as an opposite hitter, thus opening up new tactical solutions to coach Roberto Piazza’s team and increasing the depth and competitiveness of the group.
Here, as usual, are his first words as a player for Allianz Milano.

Welcome to Milan, Seppe! To start off, how would you describe yourself as a player and as a person?
Hi, thanks! The first one is certainly not an easy, easy question. As a player… I think I’m an explosive guy, and that’s important if you’re not very tall. I’m someone who gives everything on every point. As a person, I consider myself a quiet, sociable guy, someone who likes to laugh when he can and spend time with others.
In Milan you’ll meet Ferre Reggers, your teammate and friend. How much did he influence your choice and what’s your relationship like?
I’m really happy to be able to play with Ferre again next season. We’ve been friends for a long time and we stayed in touch regularly during the last season. I often told him, jokingly, that it would be great to play together in Milan. When the opportunity came, I couldn’t believe it and I immediately accepted the offer. Knowing that he was already here was definitely a big plus in my decision. It makes my first move abroad a little more familiar and much more fun, let’s say.
