Play as a universal language, a meeting place between generations, and a tool for teaching self-knowledge and understanding others. Playing, in fact, means exploring, experimenting, making mistakes, and trying again, in a context where rules, imagination, and relationships are intertwined.
From November 21 to 23, 2025, Modena will host the first edition of “Play in The City – Festival of Playful Culture,” an event that will also feature Modena Volley thanks to Serie B coach Nicolò Zanni.
“This year,” says Zanni, “we will have the pleasure of participating in Play in The City as Modena Volley; it’s an honor and we’re very happy. Sport and play have many things in common, including the educational experience and growth of children. They are two connected worlds. I’m a huge fan of board games, and on Friday, together with Fabrizio and Alfredo, we will try to emphasize how fundamental and important these two areas are in everyday life.”
