Our preseason ended with a solid draw against Negrini CTE Acqui Terme. In the final home test match before the start of the championship (starting Sunday the 19th at 5:00 PM at home against Stadium Mirandola), our boys drew 2-2 against the Piedmontese team, their opponents in the Serie A3 tournament against Credem Banca.
The scores (25-22, 20-25, 23-25, 25-18) revealed a very balanced match, in which coach Radici gave play to all available players, with the exception of Maiocchi, still sidelined as a precaution but close to returning to full fitness, and Simoni, who experienced a minor knee problem during the warmup and was therefore benched for safety. The starting six is therefore made up of the Guerriero-Baldazzi diagonal, the Pinali and Baciocco flanks and the Zanini-Andriola duo in the centre, with El Moudden as libero.
