Four consecutive wins, two at home and two away, followed by a loss in San Giustino in a closely contested match for most of its duration, where composure at crucial moments allowed the home team to prevail in all three sets.
Regarding their first loss of the season, which came after a hard-fought match, Acqui Terme coach Michele Totire commented: “When you play an away match against a great opponent, your mistakes are reflected in the overall score. Perhaps if we had brought home those two balls we missed in the second and third sets, we would have won the set. We certainly deserve credit for the others, but we acknowledge these mistakes and try not to repeat them.”
