Allianz Milano’s goal is clear, to return to winning ways after a truly dark month. The last Milanese success dates back to Game 1 of the Play Off Credem Banca quarter-finals against Civitanova, on March 9th. Now the stakes are still high, a pass to Europe, but they must leave at least one team behind them to reach the semi-finals of this Play Off for 5th place. The opponent, like last weekend, is a high-ranking one, Valsa Group Modena, who prevailed on the first day in Padua and therefore leads the group with 3 points together with Cisterna and Verona. The last outing of the “canaries” at the Allianz Cloud on the unforgettable day of tribute for captain Matteo Piano, on March 2nd, was particularly painful for the Milanese colors. Three to zero, despite tight partial scores, but Giuliani’s team was always able to make the decisive break.
