Spiker Checco Barretta will remain at the court of coach Enzo Distefano also for the next championship of series A3.
Fresh from the training camp with the National category, the 2005 class native of Aversa, although slowed down by some physical problems, last championship was among the main protagonists with the jersey of the Contea sextet.
For Barretta, therefore, what is now upon us will be his second season in the shadow of the Castello dei Conti.
“Last season – says Barretta – was full of emotions, both positive and negative due to some injuries, but despite everything, I am very happy with the season played both on a personal level and on a team level. Now for the next season I expect an even more stimulating and fun season. I have learned to know the Modica environment – he continues – and I must say I have found a welcoming climate that makes you feel at home. From an organizational point of view there are some aspects to improve to make us express ourselves at our best and give everything we have. I am happy that coach Distefano strongly wanted my reconfirmation, because I think he has shown that he can be part of this roster and together with my old and new teammates I hope to be able to take Avimecc Modica as high as possible and – concludes Barretta – to give us some more satisfaction compared to last season”.
